H-SAF

The H-SAF project generates high-quality data sets and products for operational hydrological applications. The data is acquired by satellites operated by EUMESAT including the Metop-A, -B and –C satellites which carry the ASCAT instruments. Soil moisture is routinely generated from these instruments as part of the H-SAF project, providing sub-daily soil moisture data at 12.5 km resolution. The ISMN provides reference data for the validation of the operational soil moisture products.
